There’s a new burger in town, but this one has two crispy rice cakes as the “bun.” Iroha Sushi, a Studio City mainstay, known for its extensive menu of everything-but- the-kitchen-sink sushi rolls, ramen, udon, teriyaki, and even filet mignon sushi, now has a Crispy Rice Burger with your choice of spicy tuna, albacore, salmon, sautéed teriyaki chicken with shitake mushrooms, filet ‘oishii’ mignon or ‘oishii’ teriyaki chicken. Each type comes with lettuce, tomato, avocado, onion, and smelt mayonnaise — all wrapped in black and white checked paper with roasted shishito peppers on the side.
Eating tip: Don’t cut it. Just bite into it — like a big, juicy burger, of course.
