We might as well start calling Encino Place the LeePlex considering Phillip Frankland Lee and pastry chef/wife Margarita Kallas-Lee now run four different concepts on the shopping center’s second floor. Since they’ve run out of room, their only option now is to add special menu items/events like Frankland’s Crab & Co.’s new weekend crab boils.
According to Phillip, “The goal of our crab boils is to gather friends and family together in the neighborhood: Frankland’s Crab & Co. is that fun, low-key place where you can hang out with your loved ones, not have to worry about a reservation and sample a variety of our delicious seafood.”
Every Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m., Frankland’s Crab & Co. offers a quintessential summer experience for $45 per person, including ¼ pound shrimp, one King crab leg, one lobster claw, lobster-buttered corn-on-the-cob, one cup of chowda, house-made sourdough and bottomless beer from the house keg. Bring reinforcements.

Food is pretty darn good, too.
