Along the Boulevard in Sherman Oaks, you’ll find plenty of great craft beer at restaurants like Boneyard Bistro, On The Thirty and Blue Dog Beer Tavern, but none of those establishments actually brew the beer themselves. Enter Tony Yanow, formerly Golden Road Brewing’s cofounder and owner of Tony’s Darts Away and Mohawk Bend. Tony and his crafty cohorts are replacing the short-lived home to Marlin & Ono and the longer-lived Señor Fred space.
Details are still coming together, but according to Tony’s publicist, “It will be a restaurant concept, including an on-site brewing operation which will be brewing craft beers exclusively available at that location.” Expect the still unnamed business to surface early next year. According to the aforementioned rep, “The new concept has a target opening date of late-Spring 2017.”
