Known for fresh oysters and creative custom cocktails, Tipple & Brine in Sherman Oaks is offering a new "social hour" Monday through Friday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The drinks: Oyster shooters ($5) and house-made classic cocktails such as the old-fashioned or Moscow mule, crafted with Tito’s vodka ($7). On the beer list there are $5 draft choices that include Firestone IPA, Mama’s Little Yella Pils, Golden Road Hefe, Craftsman 1903 and Dogtown Brown. Wine selections such as pinot grigio, chardonnay, pinot noir or cabernet sauvignon are just $6 per glass.
The eats: Menu favorites rotate but expect such dishes as crispy oysters with sauce gribiche ($7), brussels sprouts ($5) and mussels and fries ($7).
Not to miss snacks: Fresh oysters, $2; warm marinated olives, $4.
