The Front Yard, the resident restaurant at The Garland hotel in North Hollywood, is holding its annual Spring Beer & Wine Block Party on Sunday, April 15, 2 to 5 p.m. Executive Chef Larry Greenwood, known for creative comfort food, will serve several dishes—plus California wine and craft beer.
All event proceeds benefit the East Valley Family YMCA. Guests are also encouraged to bring items like toys and board games for small children who rely on the center. Tickets cost $29 per person in advance or $38 at the door.
Guests can look forward to mini house-cured pastrami sandwiches on a pretzel rolls, patty melt sliders, Thai Town shrimp wraps, green garbanzo hummus and carrot cake French toast. To drink, expect pours of wines like Patz & Hall pinot noir and Landmark chardonnay. Craft breweries like Knee Deep Brewing Co. and North Coast Brewing Co. are contributing kegs. The event will also feature live music from the Rick Cowling Duet, lawn games and a photo booth to commemorate your experience.
According to Larry, “We wanted to create a fun and vibrant gathering for everyone to enjoy a taste of The Front Yard. We support locally-based charities and have a great time celebrating, which all goes back to a good cause.”
