Sweetfin Poké, a collaboration between Choice Hospitality Group partners Alan Nathan, Brett Nestadt, Seth Cohen and Top Chef cheftestant Dakota Weiss, found early success after debuting in Santa Monica in 2015. They’ve got a Larchmont Village outpost on the way and are set to debut this September at The Village at Topanga in Canoga Park.
“Many of our Santa Monica guests actually drive from the Valley to dine at Sweetfin,” Seth says. “Since the day we’ve opened we have had request after request to open up a store in the Valley. We love the community aspect that Westfield has created at the Village, and we found a lot of the other tenants here to be complementary to our brand and offerings. The proximity to the creative community in Topanga Canyon was also a big draw for us.”
People who have been to Sweetfin Santa Monica will certainly recognize the menu. They are introducing a new signature bowl. Avococo Albacore will include albacore tuna, a spicy avocado coconut sauce made with a homemade, 20-day fermented green Sriracha hot sauce, pineapple, mint and snap peas. Sweetfin will also debut a new popcorn flavor in Canoga Park crafted with dark chocolate and Sriracha.
