Harrisons gift store offers fine and fashion jewelry along with unique and eclectic homewares and gifts. Mother/daughter team Shellie Harrison and Stephanie Harrison have owned the retail store for three years, but the Harrison family has been in the jewelry business for the past 35 years. Stephanie worked as publicist for famed fashion designer Rebecca Taylor in New York City before returning to her hometown of Los Angeles to open Harrisons with her mother. Shellie owns a jewelry manufacturing company with her husband, while selling her own line of jewelry to private customers throughout the years.

“Harrisons strives to offer the best products for the best possible price. We travel the world to find new and unique designers that you cannot find anywhere else in the city.”

What’s most rewarding about your work?

“We love when we hear how much the recipient of a gift LOVED what he or she received, or when someone buys a new piece of jewelry and they talk about all the wonderful compliments they have received and how they enjoy wearing what they purchased every day!”

What is the most popular trend your customers ask for?

“Our customers are always looking to update their serving pieces. They may have had the same silver bowl for 10 years, but they add an amazing Carrol Boyes or Michael Aram serving piece to it, and it becomes new again! “

What is the biggest benefit your clients gain from seeing you for their jewelry needs?

“Harrisons’ customer service is our top priority. We know our customers are busy with their families and jobs, so we will make home and office visits and pre-wrap any gifts they need. We offer gorgeous, free gift wrap that makes a $20 gift look like a million bucks!”

How do you give back to your community?

“We generously donate to many non-profits that we have been working with for many years. We also love to support the families that support us, by donating to their schools and charitable organizations.”

What do you like to do for fun, when you’re not at work?

“We love to entertain our friends and family. It is fun to be creative with all of our fabulous serving pieces!”
