Describe the project.

“We recently had the pleasure of working with Bruce Makowsky on his newly renovated property, Sierra Mar. Located in the coveted ‘bird streets,’ it’s a multi-level estate with an impressive sweeping view of Downtown Los Angeles and the ocean. We outfitted this home in some of our most exclusive brands including Natuzzi Italia, Pietro Costantini and Kelvin Giormani—just to name a few.” 

When did you start your business in the Valley?

“Rapport has a long history of providing elegant, modern furnishings to Los Angeles. Our La Brea location has been operating since 1946, and we expanded to Sherman Oaks in September 2012. Valley residents can find an unequaled selection of exclusive Natuzzi Italia pieces and Stressless® by Ekornes® products at our new Ventura Boulevard location. We’re eagerly awaiting the arrival of Natuzzi’s new RE-VIVE chair, set for this May/June.” 

What makes your firm unique in this industry? 

“Apart from our decades of expertise, we have a vast selection of carefully curated designer brands. We offer more than just a store (two stores, actually, and a 20,000-square-foot warehouse). We offer thousands of choices, in-house design, delivery and installation services and will be as hands-on as our clients need us to be. We also work closely with interior designers and other trade professionals.”
