A small, sweet taste of France can now be had in the middle of the Westfield Fashion Square, where ‘Lette Macarons, the Beverly Hills-based shop (formerly Paulette), has set up an official kiosk on the lower level.
A mod, white display case reveals a macaron rainbow with 13 of their classic flavors, as well as a seasonal choice or two. The handmade, delicate, almond-based sandwich cookie is infused with ganache fillings that include Madagascar vanilla, salted caramel, Earl Grey tea, Carribean chocolate and violet cassis. Buy them individually for $1.95 or in a variety of gift boxes from $4 to $129.
'Lette Macarons has six stores (Beverly Hills, Larchmont, Little Tokyo, Fashion Island, Glendale and Pasadena), plus two kiosks (the other is in San Diego).
Gift pack of 12, $23
The Flower Tower has 60 macarons, $119.
