Sally Mann: A Thousand Crossings
Sally Mann: A Thousand Crossings at The Getty Center is the first major international exhibition of the work of the American photographer. The exhibit explores themes of family, memory, mortality and the Southern landscape. Melancholic and hauntingly beautiful, Mann’s photographs expose how her relationship with the land has shaped her work and how the legacy of the South continues to permeate America’s identity.
