Studio City restaurateur Frank Leon is in the mood for change. Most recently he switched up Next Door Tapas, turning it into Ceremony. Now his 29-year-old classic, La Loggia, has a new menu and an interior redesign with a sophisticated cabaret/speakeasy ambience.
Debuting April 24 is the weekly “Piano Bar Nights” where live music will be played Thursday to Saturday from 9 p.m. to midnight and a new “prohibition-inspired” cocktail list. The first pianist to take to the ivory keys will be Mark Cole from the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills.
New dishes to try include:
Lobster linguini
Beefsteak tomato salad
Croque-Monsieur
La Loggia, 11814 Ventura Blvd., Studio City, 818-985-9222
Canto VI May Be in Chatsworth but the Wines Make It worth the Drive
Food is pretty darn good, too.
