Greenhouse Juice Bar Adds Sherman Oaks Location And Ginger Beer

With solid success at their first Valley location, Greenhouse Juice Bar is kicking off a second local outpost. According to co-founder Jason Bran, “The North Hollywood store has been so good to us, it seemed like an opportunity we couldn’t let pass by.”

The new location, in Sherman Oaks, makes Greenhouse a three-link chain. Jason is a high-profile bartender who opened the first outpost at The Original Farmers Market with produce vendor John Chae.

Greenhouse specializes in made-to-order juices and smoothies, features kombucha on tap, and provides a fridge for grab-and-go kombucha and pre-pressed juice. They also sell young coconuts; just drink the juice straight from the cracked shell.

Greenhouse has taken their ginger beer program to another level, selling two different cans. “Classic recipe” balances spicy, sweet and tangy notes by combining cold-pressed ginger and lemon juices, cane sugar, rosemary and lemongrass. They also produce a seasonal version. Greenhouse’s summertime mix adds cold-pressed pineapple and jalapeño juices and vanilla.

For customers who can’t live on liquids alone, Greenhouse offers five different açaí bowls pairing the antioxidant rich Amazonian berry with an array of fruits, hemp milk and honey. Snack-friendly bags of banana chips and dried fruits like chile mango and kiwi rest on shelves near the register.

Greenhouse is now within shouting distance of hot new places like Petit Trois and The Joint, making this little stretch of the Boulevard in Sherman Oaks one of the busiest hubs on this side of the hill.
