Dream Bikinis

On a recent afternoon, a trio of women peruse the color-popping racks at Canyon Beachwear, pulling a half-dozen suits each. Meantime, another gal is already in the dressing room, calling out instructions to store manager, Lisa Harris. “I’d love to see it in the pink, but do you think it’s too skimpy for me?” the customer asks. Lisa advises, “Try it, let’s see. Try on everything. You just don’t know until you put it on.” She heads back out on the floor to get more loot.

“We’ve got hard-to-find bra cup sizes like 32D and 38E,     and if we don’t have a suit in your size, we typically can get it,” Lisa tells us. The biggest sellers here are the mix-and-match separates, which allows women to buy tops in one size and bottoms in another.

As for hot trends, it’s all about the monokini.  This conversation stopper is essentially a one-piece, but with most of the middle cut out, it is as skimpy as a bikini. So, the more you look, the more (or less) you see. Game on, girls!
