Actress Beverly Garland enjoyed a long, successful acting career. She was best known for roles on My Three Sons and Scarecrow and Mrs. King. She passed away in 2008 after more than 50 years of acting experience. Her contributions to LA extended beyond the small and big screens, including The Garland hotel that she and husband Fillmore Crank first developed in North Hollywood in 1970.
The city of Los Angeles recently acknowledged her efforts by proclaiming January 19 as Beverly Garland Day. Clearly, this calls for celebration at her namesake hotel.
In The Front Yard and Lobby Bar, they’re offering $19 burger and martini combos, honoring Beverly’s favorite meal. Guests can also enjoy some of Beverly Garland’s most acclaimed films from 3 to 10 p.m. in the 1,800-square-foot, state-of-the-art Beverly Garland Theatre, including complimentary theatre snacks and drinks. Visitors also receive 25% off all merchandise (and a complimentary cookie) at The Store.
