The Sauce has known for a few weeks now which wines will be served at Peasant Wine Bistro’s Spring Winemaker Dinner. But we just got the food menu, so we're sharing the details:
Monday April 11, 7:30 p.m.
Wines: Located on the Sonoma Coast, Trombetta Family Wines produces 90+ point wines. Taste a chardonnay and pinot noir flight that includes 2014 Chardonnay, Gap’s Crown Vineyard (94pts), 2013 Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast (91pts), 2013 Pinot Noir, Gap’s Crown Vineyard (94pts), 2012 Pinot Noir, Gap’s Crown Vineyard (95pts), 2011 Pinot Noir, Gap’s Crown Vineyard (93pts).
Food: Fresh citrus oysters, lamb lollipops with mirepoix of summer vegetables and herb au jus, roulade of smoked salmon, yellow and gold beet purée and chicken confit with brioche sauce over Boston lettuce.
Cost: $125 per person
