We’ve heard a lot about wine pairings with fine cuisine, but how about cookies and stout?

Wednesdays at Woodland Hills' Eureka! at Westfield Topanga’s The Village means Steal The Glass night, when the new American cuisine restaurant offers a choice beer from a local microbrewery and patrons may take home the glass.

This Wednesday (January 19) offers something a little different: Firestone Walker Milk & Cookies, a pairing of Firestone Walker Brewing Company’s Nitro Merlin Milk Stout with cookies from California’s Brown Butter Cookie Company (locations in Cayucos and Paso Robles, which is also the home of Firestone Walker.)

The pairing is available at 6 p.m. either as dessert or appetizer. Eureka! assures us that you are encouraged to eat cookies before dinner just this once, no matter what your mother tells you.
