The Front Yard, located at The Garland hotel in North Hollywood, is partnering with Northern California-based Knee Deep Brewing Co., transforming the restaurant’s outdoor patio into a beer garden. On June 7 from 4 to 6 p.m., experience four beer pairings for $38 per person in the Knee Deep Beer Garden.

This collaboration with Knee Deep Brewing Co. is a passion project from The Front Yard executive chef Larry Greenwood and the property’s F&B director, Oliver Goldsmith. Their summer kickoff lasts just one afternoon and merges Knee Deep and The Front Yard in a fun, creative way with the following menu.

• Citrus Pale Ale & Compressed Watermelon
• Breaking Bud & Grit Cake
• Lupulin River & Spicy Burger
• Stoutella & Chocolate + Banana Cake

According to Oliver, “Knee Deep is one of my favorite breweries due to their creativeness and flavor profiles of their beers as well as their marketing collateral, branding and imaging. For example, their Citra XPA that we carry on tap at both The Front Yard and our Lobby Bar pairs the common citrus notes of lime and grapefruit from the single citra hop with passion fruit notes. It has a unique flavor profile uncommon in the pale ale category.” Knee Deep has participated in The Garland’s last three “block parties,” and now they get the spotlight.
