No opening date to announce yet—but Bow & Truss’ former restaurant space (and lusciously large patio) at 11122 Magnolia Boulevard in the heart of NoHo gets a new resident in May: El Tejano, brought to you by Knitting Factory Entertainment (KFE) and the founders of Big Wangs sports bars and Sherman Oaks’ Tipsy Cow.
A complete menu is not yet available, but partners Peter “P.J.” Brill and Joe Barker say the new restaurant will put an emphasis on specialty tacos and salsas, along with Tex-Mex traditions including chili con carne and Frito pie. The bar will introduce the “Frozen Beerita!” as well as craft, draft and bottled beers and a long list of margaritas and tequilas.
