Check out Loteria Grill’s new La Flaca menu with lighter dishes and low-carb options. Choose from tacos with various meats; shrimp and/or veggies in lettuce cups; shrimp cocktail with a tomato/orange salsa; and salads with a slew of interesting ingredients that include beets, cactus, jicama and hibiscus flowers. There are also specialty plates, such as swordfish and skirt steak. Eat breakfast for dinner, as select dishes are available all day. There are no “skinny” margaritas yet, but really—why mess with a good thing?
The Counter, which is the original “build-your-own burger” restaurant, just launched a new selection of signature burgers, bowls, salads, sides and more. Tasty treats include deviled eggs; marinated tomato salad; kale salad; quinoa salad and goat cheese; a veggie club; Southeast Asian ahi burger; turkey burger with brie and cranberries; sprouted house-made veggie; beef bowl with quinoa, herbed goat cheese spread, grilled red onions, oven-roasted tomatoes, and basil pesto; and the organic bison burger with smoked Gouda. Check out the menu to read all the specific details. And don’t worry — select staples will remain, such as the Parmesan fries and the “Old School Burger”—along with market-fresh cocktails, craft beers, and the very popular adult milkshakes and malts.
